// Since 2016
We don't make a dozen products. We don't sell game time. We don't run an arms race of "new features." We make one piece of software — the SDO Autoplay engine — and we make it better every year.
// The numbers
HybridCheats started in 2016 as a side project — a single engineer trying to automate the boring grind of Super Dancer Online. By 2017 it had real subscribers. By 2020 it was supporting more than one platform. Today, in 2026, it serves a stable community of over a thousand active players across Malaysia, mainland China, and beyond.
// Our story
Super Dancer Online has always had a niche but loyal community. The rhythm grind, the costume collection, the social lobby — players love the game. What they don't love is the eight-hundredth playthrough of the same chart to grind progression.
In 2016, we set out to fix that. The first build of Hybrid was a single utility that handled basic note input. It was rough. It was unreliable on hard charts. It crashed if you alt-tabbed.
But it worked, and people wanted it. Word spread on Facebook and forums. A handful of subscribers became dozens, then hundreds. With every paid subscription we reinvested into the engine — better timing logic, support for new game patches, two-platform support, the auto-ready breakthrough.
By the time mainland China's 9you SUPER platform appeared, we were ready with native support and full Chinese localisation. Players from the mainland joined the community and brought their own feedback — and when the 超级舞者 revival opened at ZRF, we shipped a build for that too, on its own subscription and at the same price.
Ten years later, we're still doing exactly the same thing — building one product, talking directly to our customers, and treating the software like it's our craft rather than a hustle.
// Philosophy
There are two ways of constructing a software design. One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies; the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies.
Simplicity is a prerequisite for reliability.
The competent programmer is fully aware of the strictly limited size of his own skull; therefore he approaches the programming task in full humility.
We picked these three quotes a long time ago and put them on the wall. They're not décor — they're our actual development standard. Hybrid is simple to use because simple is reliable. We don't bolt on features for marketing copy. We don't ship things we can't support.
// Our values
These aren't slogans. They're decisions we've made and re-made every year for ten years — and they're the reason customers stick around for plans measured in years instead of months.
If we ship it, it works. Every release runs through internal testing on every platform we ship for before it leaves our servers. We'd rather delay a build than ship a flaky one.
Our source code has never been public, and never will be. Subscriber credentials are stored with industry-standard hashing. We don't sell data, we don't run ads, we don't track you across the web.
Every subscriber has a direct line to a real person — not a chatbot, not a ticket queue. We monitor email and our official Facebook page regularly, and we follow up until your issue is resolved.
RM40 a month, RM385 for two years. Our pricing reflects what the product actually costs to build and support — not what we could squeeze out if we cornered the market. Long-term subscribers always pay less per month.
// Why our code stays private
Some products choose open-source because it builds community, attracts contributors, and lets users verify what's running on their machine. Those are real benefits. But for a subscription tool in the rhythm-game space, the trade-off doesn't pencil out.
Public code in our category means easy clones, easy bans, and easy detection by anti-cheat systems that watch for known signatures. We keep the engine private, the binaries private, and the distribution private — and in ten years we've never had a leak.
Your subscription pays for that discipline as much as it pays for the software itself.
Everyone from the mainland is welcome here. Both mainland servers — ZRF SUPER and 9you SUPER — get a build of their own, a completely localised Chinese interface, and a checkout that activates the subscription on the spot.
